West Round 2
Flames 1
Oilers 3
Fck Yeah!!! Now that is what a playoff game should look like! Tons of shots, hits, saves, and action o' plenty. The only unfortunate part of this game is the fact GM Kevin was forced to send starting goalie D. Kuemper to the bench for a much needed rest in an effort to have him ready for a Game 6 battle in Calgary and hopefully a Game 7 back in Edmonton. If this game is any indication it will be a beauty in Game 6 with the Flames trying to remain alive with a 100% healthy and full roster. Both goalies played exceptionally well in this one as 86 combined shots were faced with only 4 goals allowed. Neither goalie deserved a loss here but the TSN Turning Point for this game and potentially the series was the Edmonton PP were both the deciding and insurance goals were potted. Edmonton will hope to keep the PP hot while the Flames will look to torch the Oil on home ice. Lets hope the Flames win to force a Game 7 in this very even and entertaining series so we can see one more of these! Oilers take the series lead enroute to Calgary 3-2.
