Game 3 returned to Montreal and it looked eerily similar to Game 2 in Colorado. The difference on this night was it was A. Forsberg between the pipes for Montreal and there wasn't a third period collapse in sight. Just like Game 2 it was Montreal taking a 1 shot advantage to the third leading 2-1 but this time the Habs were determined not to let the game slip away playing their best period of the night. Montreal outshot and countered the visitors from Colorado to the tune of 15-8 in the third and put it away with 2 goals to ice it. Some interesting storylines going forward are is A.Forsberg Colorados kryptonite going 2-0 so far? Does GM Steve continue to flip goalie starts? Does C.Desmith regain his earlier #1 status and form? Can Colorado generate enough 5 vs. 5 offense against this squad? Sombody was going to be up 2-1 after 3 games and it is Montreal ....is Game 4 really the deciding game with Montreal at home potentially going up 3-1 or does Colorado simply win and even it up retaking home ice? Either way Game 4 is on deck with Montreal retaking a lead up 2-1.
