BRHL Finals

Habs    4

Av's     1

Well here we are! The BRHL Cup finals got underway in Colorado and just like the Western Finals the hometown Av's were on the wrong end of the scoresheet when it ended. Obviousley losing Game 1 wasn't the beginning of the end for Colorado last round as they are here to kick off this round but it certainly isn't the best way to start a series losing home ice. All that being said this game wasn't anything at all like the score indicated as it was as even as it could be with both teams putting 31 shots on goal and the PP time being slightly in Colorado's favor. The difference was Freddie Andersen was simply out-dueled by Anton Forsberg and there really isn't anything more to say or take from this game. Montreal now has 9 players with 10 points or better in these playoffs whereas GM Bryce and his Av's have 6 players reaching those numbers. GM Steve is rolling with his depth scoring and will look to take both road games while GM Bryce will look to make adjustments and gain a home split. Game 2 coming up with Habs leading 1-0
