BRHL Finals

Habs     2

Av's      4

Game 2 took place once again in Colorado with a predictable home win for the Av's. What wasn't at all predictable was the way it happened as Colorado was the second best team on the ice once again. This is by no means saying Colorado were run out of the rink or stole this game but after a very flat opening period they were fortunate to escape unscathed. The second period was a much better period for Colorado and their fans but they found themselves heading to the third trailing 2-1 and in danger of dropping both games at home. Luckily for the Av's the Habs C. Desmith was once again a bit inconsistant with his play allowing 3 unanswered third period goals on just 10 shots to send the home crowd home happy! Mission accomplished for both squads after this one as Montreal heads home stealing home ice but Colorado responds to earn at least a split. Once again this series is predicted to be close and long and we are all square after 2. Game 3 from Montreal upcoming now tied at 1
