GM RANKINGS
..
Senators Kirk Shuck- #1 3 rings say so.
Devils Tim Scholl- The two time cup champ is one of the very best in the league. With Dubnyk backstopping the latest cup win Tim has built a quality team through trade and drafting. With a team the sim just loves Tim is always in win now mode and has brought home the second most hardware in the league. Time will tell how the team does when dubnyk and his under 2 mill salary turn into a 7-8mill salary and where the team will have to trim out some salary off the forward and defensive units.
Flames Kevin Switzer-
Kevin is the best G.M in the league aquiring assets, His draft resume is second to none. His trade history is fairly strong outside of his dealings with Billy, Kevin boasts a core of Barzal, Monahan, Gaudreau, Klingberg, Sergachev, to go along with the deepest and best prospect pool in the entire league, the only thing keeping Kevin out of the top spot is the fact that he still hasnt won any cups.
Golden Knights Joe Bast- A top tier G.M has a good draft record with also a solid trade resume. Joe isn't afraid to be an active trader having traded for UFA's such as Wheeler and Hossa last year then reselling them for a better price come deadline as he wasn't afraid to miss the playoffs to load up on long-term assets. With a core of Eichel, Larkin, Horvat, Forsberg, Carlson, Provorov the team is loaded with early 20's talent. Joe's knock is similar to Kevin's in the limited playoff success knocks him down a spot or two.
Blackhawks- David Yee
The Hawks used to be known as a clutch playoff team having won a cup very early on in the BRHL2. After taking over the squad the team has been content with just winning regular season titles. With the team dwindling away in terms of star caliber players Yee might be sliding down this list in the near future. With Toews- Schenn- Landeskog- Stone being the teams backbone the team has fallen down the list in terms of best cores in the BRHL2,
Avalanche- Bryce Shuck
Rangers Ryan Hicks- Really new G.M took over a quality team and hasn't messed them up too badly. time will tell which way the ranking goes as it could be a Dunya type spiral after being gifted a good team or it could be a Uppercut like build adding even higher end guys with the depth that he has been gifted.
MapleLeafs Garrett Hansford- EXACT SAME THING AS JORDAN! its like they are twins.
Oilers Leon Yu- The Dentist has built a team destined for Dahlin-Hughes type next few seasons. Leon has a history of making deals that end up bad for his Oilers. Rumors have it he turned down a draft pick offered for the teams naming rights. With management like that the team is in for a long haul. Leon hasn't had much postseason success and his team will be at the bottom of the league for a long time.. things arent looking good in Edmonton.
Coyotes Joel Mireau-
The Aves GM is widely known as a trade rapist (check the faksa for Hall deal) Bryce is an extreme hockey loser with seemingly unlimited time to spend on the BRHL2 in his life. His drafting reputation is pretty stellar (just let him tell you about it) The thing that keeps Bryce down on this list is his lack of postseason success in the 13 years the league has been running. With any kind of success Bryce would have been in the top 5. With Mckinnon Aho Hall Rantanen locked in longterm the Aves boast one of the best core's in the league
Islanders Joseph Bubanj-
Bubanj took over a loaded team from the DJ and hasn't screwed it up yet. This being his second tour of duty his high ranking is judged off his past season. Joe is always lurking around the chat just absorbing the stupidity that Rumpel and Kato bring on a daily basis. Joe adds all his players via the draft and UFA with very few trades ever happening for his teams. This works out perfectly for the team he inherited from DJ as its built to win for a long time. We could have the makings of another Dave tho as will he ever shoot his shot and go all in for a cup??
Canadiens- Steve Vardy
Steve is a long long time G.M, his 4-5 year stretch as the league's rape victim Steve has turned his Canadians program around in a big way with two solid rapes of Tyler Rumpel, Bobrovsky and Fowler deals really put the Canadians in a good spot. Boasting a core of Bobrovsky, Fowler, Brodie, Marchessault, Trocheck, Atkinson the Canadians will be a team looking to compete this year. With the terrible stretch combined with the recent good stretch Vardy lands near the middle of the G.M Rankings.
BlueJackets- Jesse Vansickle
Jesse is a quality G.M has made some really strong moves to rebuild his Blue Jackets, A good drafting G.M brings him up the list compared to his overall success. With Point- Arvidson- Boeser- Eberle- Zibanejad - Kempe locked in upfront with Poink Montour Lindell on the back end the core is a strong one. Depending how UFA plays out Jesse has a chance to climb the GM rankings with a deep playoff run.
Predators Tyler Shedden- has a horseshoe in his ass. Has won a cup and been to the finals with a roster that has no business being there. The site manager must know the in's and out's of the sim better than even the all knowing Dunya. Tyler needs to make some magic happen to be able to hold onto his ranking but with the roster he has assembled i dont like his chances.
Red Wings Nolan Andriuk- Bryce 2.0, With Bryce running drafts and as his adviser nollie should continue to build a stellar lineup that has some depth prospects coming into the system yearly. Playoff failure in both seasons as GM has his ranking on the lower end.
Kings Tyler Rumpel- dont smoke crack kids. You end up thinking Josh Bailey is a PPG player. many horrible deals in the past have been combined with many excellent deals. a bit of the Devon syndrome applies to Rumpel as the direction of the team is ever changing. Did have one good season in BRHL2 other than that his success has been limited to making terrible bets and chasing methed up women. Kuznetsov, Keller, Laine lead the way as Rumpy seems to have finally turned the corner.
Bruins- Greg Almeida
Not sure who Almeida is but Lance Uppercut is ranked higher than most would assume, With solid trades adding Seguin Faulk Backstrom Pastrnak last year Uppercut showed he can make moves to bring in big names, Lance brings a good podcast aspect to the league making the masses happy, With a limited showing in the brhl2 it is hard to gauge his postseason success as he won a round but then folded against the eventual cup champion devils. With a Core group of Anderson, Letang, Lindholm, JVR, Miller, Seguin, Pasta, Backstrom it can be expected Uppercut will push hard for a deep playoff run this upcoming season.
Penguins Billy Kennedy- The steer.. tries so hard to be a bull but is a steer. Billy was gifted a nice team by bryce before taking over.. Has made some really strong trades and solid draft picks (again bryce factor's in). Billy has the best player in the world in Mcdavid to go along with other quality pieces. Would rank higher if he could finally have some postseason games but again is a steer so that hasn't happened yet. Expect his ranking to climb in the next rankings (again bryce factor)
Capitals LARRY- Having just gone through the expansion process larry gets a pass on the rankings but showed balls in trading in a quality level team he was running and going to expansion route. Time will tell how far up the rankings he can climb, With the lack of depth out of the starting blocks I hope larry lives long enough to see his plans pay off.
Lightning Eric Ferr- Eric has built a solid base of a team. With some good drafting and solid trades the team looks to be heading to a good place in the future. His guentzel deal will always be a thorn in his side as the lottery balls made the deal even worse. Eric is an active G.M who likes to chime in and chirp every so often. solid middle of the pack G.M has a core of Kopitar, Schwartz, Dumba going forward.
Hurricanes Richard Cordell
Old faithful just plugs away, with zero drafting Richard has relied on UFA to keep his team floating and they seem to succeed every year. On paper the team is trash with Pearson, Gallagher, T.Johnson being the best players on the team. Richard is a go for playoffs yearly type G.M where his future is UGLY but he manages to scrape by every year with assets acquired for his picks or assets he signs. With lack of prospect depth and overall lack of skilled players is why the G.M suffers in the rankings.
Sabres Jared Mitchell- Has done his best to ruin what Luke had built for that we thank him. Having crosby be a non factor in the league is the biggest mistake i think he has made (outside the gaudreau deal) Since getting a phone Jared has improved his activity in the league its good to see what kinda papers he is using on a weekly basis. Time will tell if the moves being made are helpful or hurtful. Did win a cup however so his rating does get a bit of a boost from that.
Panthers Tyler Bell- Tyler took over a dumpster fire and has gone with the theory of letting it burn out instead of using a fire extinguisher. Having continued the tear down Tyler has a chance to win the Dahlin sweepstakes this season. Time will tell if he climbs out of the basement and into the top end of the GM Rankings.
Jets Jordan Hansford- a Cunt, After this many years it is embarrassing the level of success the GM has had. A perennial lottery team for the past however many seasons looks to be on the same path again going forward as the only solid pieces are the three Leafs he has in Nylander, Marner, Kadri. The rest of the team is pretty terrible and the GM is to blame. With absurd ask's in trade talks jordan usually doesn't make many deals. When he does he has come down about 30-40% of his original asking price. Real life this guy would have been fired for his win loss record awhile ago. good thing he is a happy drunk cunt or he would have been lower on the rankings.
MapleLeafs Garrett Hansford- EXACT SAME THING AS JORDAN! its like they are twins.
Ducks- Devon Cordell
Devon is the league yo-yo. Sometimes overpaying for rental UFA's, the next day moving them for nickels on the dollar he paid.. Weeks go by of him rebuilding only to be followed by him winning a few games and then "going for it". Just promise him your team is rebuilding next year and he will overpay you for that first rounder. Devon is an active G.M who tells everyone he knows OHL hockey, having hit on a few OHL'ers like Labanc he shows flash's of a good gm but it is always followed by moves that leave you shaking your head. Time will tell if he ever moves out of his Dad's basement and can stick to a plan running his team.
Sharks Miika Laakso- lover of finns, to bad its not even limited to good finns. Miika struggles when trading (check rackell for ritchie) With the team in the gutter Miika will need all of his draft picks to pan out to have any chance of climbing up the rankings.
Coyotes Joel Mireau-
Not the finest showing, has only been around for a few years and has taken some serious lumps, the team is counting on Reinhart and Nugent-Hopkins to become franchise players, besides them and klefbom and martin jones the team is scary thin with talent. Having taken over a quality roster it is scary to see the assets the coyotes have left. Another few seasons and they could have a Botham like roster.
Blues- Eric Dolegowski
Just a garbage asset manager with limited success in the league eric ranks lower than most would think. A BPA style drafter Eric shows limited ability to gauge a quality prospect. With a core of UFA to be Pavelski, UFA to be Krejci, and M.Granlund the Blues are in for some tough tough years. The lone bright spots in the organization are Erik Karlsson and Matt Murray, however having two good pieces on a team isnt really much of an accomplishment. Likely would have been fired from the league with his miss management of the expansion draft but as the league button pusher he was able to cling to his GM role.
Stars Junya Kato- The sim master, has run a strong franchise into the dirt. expect many losing seasons from here on out for the sim master.
Canucks Rob Botham-
After failed attempts chasing the cup the Canucks are back in the trash pile, with terrible asset management Botham is barely above the Rex level of GM'ing. Having turned his squad into a dumpster fire Rob hasn't done anything to give the fans in Vancouver much hope he can turn things around by himself, maybe the addition of an Assistant GM would be wise.
Flyers Anthony Cepparulo- Garbage, has made some of the worst deals in the league, overpays for assets on the Rumpel level, likes to brag that his daddy gave him a tiny share in a brewery, With a core of Puljujarvi, gostisbehere, sanhiem, with not much else the team is in for a long long long run in the dumpster of the league.
Stoners Rex Leak- Will quit the league within a year or two.. Being the cellar dweller expansion team will lose its luster and the worst g.m in league history will be to busy hillbillying it up to stay in the league..
Not Ranked-
Wild Al Wehr- too soon to judge, will be interesting to see what he does with rex's leftover crap.

"Stoners Rex Leak- Will quit the league within a year or two.. Being the cellar dweller expansion team will lose its luster "
