Vegas 2
Preds 3 OT3
This is getting beyond absurd for GM Joe and his squad from Vegas. Despite literally controlling games for extended periods of time and series for that matter, this Vegas squad simply cannot make life easy on themselves and get the job done quickly! In another marathon game for Las Vegas in these playoffs they simply may have been better off just taking a regulation loss and moving on. After basically getting their ass handed to them early and falling behind to the tune of 2-0 Vegas came out in the third period like a completely different team and pumped the Nashville net with 20 shots on goal yeilding them with 2 goals of their own to force overtime. Vegas would then add 35 more shots on goal in overtime but despite that, it was Nashville that would pot the winner on just their 16th shot of the extra frames to steal the win. Kari Lehtonen has been exceptional these entire playoffs for Nashville and has kept them alive despite being outplayed through large stretches but this series is about to get very interesting as numerous players from both sides will be game time decisions due to fatigue and injuries. This series may be decided by the GM's and their strategies rather than the players on the ice! Preds up 2-1

Hawks 4
GM Yee was hoping some home cooked meals and a return to familiar surroundings would correct what ailes his Hawks but the simple answer to his problems is "the King" has been anything but and is single handedly destroyed his teams chances of success! After giving up 4 goals on just 13 shots Chicago inserted R. Lehner and he promptly let in another goal to make it 5-0 for the visitors pretty much ending the game at just the 4:31 mark of the second period. As has been the case in these playoffs where the Hawks have been involved, nothing has been consistant and somehow this deflated team began a comeback. After roaring back with 3 goals before the second period ended, Chicago would add a 4th at just 1:31 of the third to make this blowout a 1 goal game and it was back on. Dallas somehow managed to gather themselves and when Brayden Schenn took a penalty with just 2:46 to go in the game it was basically over as MAF closed the deal to get his 7th victory of the post season. Although this Hawk team has been an exciting group these playoffs it is hard to imagine that they can come back from this loss.....Dallas up 3-0
