As the east vs west debate continues, I will be analyzing each division based on playoff success and ranking them based off of that.

  To sum up the central, Kato won the cup, and once he beat sheds in game 6 his team never looked back. Sheds is obviously hacking because his team wasn’t really that good and he went to the conference finals. Dave had a little more expectations for his team but fell short after going out in the semi’s. The jets were also cheating all year and almost took out the cup champs in round one. Bryce just sucks and I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. 

The pacific was wild this year. Joe fell just short of moving to the conference finals so he shouldn’t be too unhappy with what his team did this year. Kevin is ready to gut his entire team because of a first round exit. Rumpy’s dynasty isn’t really a dynasty, he won two playoff games and should maybe go to the bar a little less on playoff game night’s, I don’t think his team likes that too much. In all honesty he should maybe look into acquiring a little more experience and leadership at the deadline next year and maybe that’ll get him out of the first round. 

Now over to the east, I’ll start with the Atlantic. The lightning went on a hell of a run, until they got to the cup final and shit their pants. In all honesty they should be happy with what they were able to achieve this year and can likely add a couple UFA’s with all the signing bonus money he’ll have from all the playoff revenue. Greg is a bum, he just sucks, fuck you Greg. You should be very unhappy with what you did all year long, gm of the year my ass (Love you dad). Steph choked in the first round and I was actually with him when he lost, he might’ve went and killed someone after he dropped me back off at school, he was pissssssed, but who knows. After a monster start to the year the Habs slowed up in the playoffs and took a rough round 1 loss in 7. Not sure what he’s doing next year but I believe he told everyone he was selling this year and then had an unreal regular season, maybe that’s part of his master plan. The red wings just got slapped in the first round, not sure what else to say. 

The Isles had a pretty decent run this year, and I’m sure they’ll go on another one next year, I don’t see much changing there. Let’s talk about Toby this year as a whole, I feel as though I should’ve added more at the deadline, although I did add Leddy and a couple other well experienced lads, but oh well, you live and learn. I obviously would’ve beat Kato in the cup final because I beat him late in the season without Giordano and that’s all that matters right? I’ll be back for more playoff action next year don’t you worry. In all honesty Jesse put together a pretty decent roster and I’m surprised I took him out in 5. I thought it would’ve been bare minimum 6 games going either way and I wasn’t sure I was going to win the round to be honest. I’m sure he’ll be back in the playoffs next year. The Hurricanes went on a hell of a run this year missing the playoffs yet again. I’m sure my dad thinks his team is winning the cup next year so everyone be sure to get on him about that in the chat to get him going. I’ll talk about it on the next podcast with Greg as well.
