I think most of us thought that Vegas would win this series over the retooling Blackhawks so most of us were right, however I am not sure that most of us thought that Chicago would make it this difficult. Chicago maintained strong goaltending throughout the series and kept games that were otherwise not close....close! Unfortunately for Chicago tonight was not 1 of those nights as Vegas put 5 past them to end this series. This was by no means a poor performance from Chicago as they played a very strong 2 periods to start the game and against a lesser opponent could have been over at that point. Chicago used the home crowd and energy to outshoot Vegas 27-16 thru 2 but unlike other points in this series they didnt get the big save at the right time and could only manage a come from behind 3-3 tie to that point. That was as good a 2 periods Chicago had played and when the puck dropped for the third period a different Vegas team had arrived taking full control and outshooting the Hawks 22-6 in the frame but more importantly outscoring them 2-1 to take the series.Vegas earns a bit of a rest taking this in 6, 4 games to 2.

Whoooooaaaaa! 5 goals....wtf....well, the roller coaster ride of the goalies in this series continued this evening with C. Price getting the upper hand for a change on D. Dubnyk. Minny came home with the chance to upset the heavily favoured Jets and Dubnyk was the MVP to this point for the Wild, but this couldnt have been a worse time for an off night surrendering all 5 goals on 31 shots. In all fairness this series deserved to be this close and at no time or at any point did either team separate themselves enough to decide a winner.....so they didnt! M.Marner is certainly a star in this series and he picked the most opportune time to make his pressence felt potting the hat trick for GM Cunt and the Jets organization. This was just his 2nd,3rd, and 4th goals of the series and if he can get going it could be the difference maker going forward for the Jets. Does GM Cunt FINALLY get some offense or the upstart Wild recover and steal this on the back of Dubnyk....find out in Game 7! Series tied at 3
