CAL!!! CAL!!! CAL!!! Just 2 short days ago many of us (myself included) thought Ottawa had shot the load and were as done as an over cooked steak. With starter D.Kuemper being forced to the bench the previous game C. Petersen stole the show to even the series at 2 games a piece. With that start freshly in the mind of GM Steph and the prospect of starting a less then 100% Kuemper he went once again with Cal on this night. WTF is wrong with the sim? Do the Sens play a better team game with a shit goalie in net? Why does a goalie that wouldn't be elite in the minors completely shut down an elite pro offense? Who the fck knows??? In any event another pretty even game falls the way of the Senators as Petersen stops 31 shots for yet another win and now goes to 4-1 in the playoffs. Once again Columbus got off to a bit of a slow start but got better as the game wore on outshooting their opponents thru regulation 33-29 but never got another shot the rest of the way. Blake Wheeler took a foolish hooking penalty early into overtime and that was just what Ottawa was looking for as their special teams were just special enough on this night to win it. Somehow the Sens are bact to 100% health and look to close out the series up 3-2.
