Really???? Another fckn broom job??? Al won at least 1 game from Junya for fck sakes and he backed into the playoffs by default! The epic finals that everyone expected and hoped for wasn't as GM Junya is a repeat champion! As much as it irritates me to say this GM Junya has done an outstanding job retooling this team into a dynasty. We have said this before that GM Junya took over a top team when he took the reigns (which he did) but he managed that roster and molded it with numerous moves into the team it is today. We have witnessed GM's come and go with the odd top team being taken over without nearly the same results so kudos to Junya. As for the series, well despite the broom job this series was considerably closer than the 4-0 result that will be all anyone looks at when looking back later. Tonights game in particular will be a tough one to swallow for GM Steph as his Sens had a 1 goal lead with under a minute left to play but Colin Miller took the idiot penalty of the year with just 34 seconds to go and it only took 27 seconds for the "goat cam" to shine bright on him with the tying goal netted. The overtime session wasn't any better for the undisciplined Sens with 2 early penalties and you simply can't play shorthanded against anyone let alone Dallas so when fan favorite M. Scheifele potted his 9th of the playoffs that was all for the season! With both teams going to be largely intact heading into this offseason we can expect to see alot more of both going forward. Congrats to both squads and GM's on a great season! Eric, pay up!!! Let the offseason frenzy begin!!!!
