I am starting to realize that my hopes of making the playoffs are fading. When I started making my moves I saw an opportunity to make the playoffs. I figured that when I played one of the top ten team I couldn't realisitcally expect to win. When I played the middle tier of teams I could win half of them. Lastly I expected to win the majority of the games with the bottom tier teams. That didn't happen. Combined with a tough schedule I took six points out of a possible twenty. I dropped two games against bottom tier teams but heck, I had fun. Part of the impetus for this trade block is a handshake deal to move Scott Laughton when I am ready to concede my playoff hopes. 

Mark Andrew Fleury  He is in the last year of his contract and is owed only $1.3 M. A 6th rounder gets him.

Erik Haula has to be one of the premier forwards on the rental market. FO 94, PA 70, SC 76, DEF 70 and the all important PS 75. He is owed $3 M for the rest of the contract and I would be willing to take on an expiring contract. Looking for a 4th rounder or a prospect who made the most recent prospect ratings in the Athletic . 

Mikko Koivu has a 94 FO, 75 PA, DEF 81, and 87 LD. He is a veteran leader who brings everything but goal scoring to the table. He is a rental and is owed $1.9 M and again I am willing to take on an expiring contract. A 5th rounder or a prospect on the list gets him. 

The following players have term left on their contract.

Artem Anisimov has one year remaining after this year at $3.5 M . He has a 78 FO, 82 SC and a 81 LD. A 4th rounder or a prospect gets him.

Frank Vatrano is a bargain at 916 K and after next year can be resigned as a RFA. He has an 80 CK, 71 PA, 74 SC and a 66 DF. A 3rd rounder or a prospect gets him. 

Craig Smith is signed through the end of next year at $3.0 M and is a must get for Bruin fans. 65 PA, 77 SC, and 78 LD. A 4th rounder or a prospect gets him.

Kevin Shattenkirk is signed through next year at $5.7 M. 67 PA, 51 SC, 66 DEF and 78 LD. A 3rd rounder or a prospect gets him and I am willing to retain 1/2 of his salary for next year. 

Mirco Mueller is 25 years old and signed through next year at $978 K. He has a 90 DEF rating and a 5th rounder gets him.

I also have Malcolm Subban who is signed through next year at under $1 M and can be resigned as a RFA. a 5th rounder or a prospect gets him.

I also have one retention spot available for this year.
