Daily Recap
Jets 3
Vegas 5
The story that was C.Price had the final chapter written this evening and GM Bast couldn't be happier about it. Vegas has completely controlled this series since the opening faceoff in Game 1 and anything less then a second round appearance would have been a travesty. The Jets , as has been the case in recent years, simply would not just fck off and despite Vegas once again assuming early control of the game and taking an early lead found themselves heading to the third tied at 2. The hockey gods had had enough of toying with Vegas body and soul and finally allowed them their just desserts and a 5-3 victory. Although this game was closer statisically then the others in this series it was clear which team deserved to move on and they did. Vegas wins series 4-3
Kings 4
Aves 6
After boasting about these 2 teams strength in goal with 4 bona fide starters between them we witness this type of a game ??? Much like the previous series this series had a team that was clearly better throughout and also like the previous series the hockey Gods got it right. The Aves stormed out to a 5-0 lead before the game was 10 minutes old and the series ended just like that. The visitors from LA did all they could to try and erase that horrible start and chip away at the lead, and to their credit they did a pretty damn good job of it, but a 5 goal lead is not something that should ever be blown and it wasn't here tonight either. GM Bryce managed to exercise at least a couple of demons by getting out of the first round while GM Rumpy will have to wait another year to start his "Dynasty" talk again! Colorado wins 4-3
