Colorado arrived in Vegas looking to take back home ice after splitting the games in the Mile High City and it was looking good early on as they jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead. I am not sure what happened after that however as P. Grubauer suddenly turned into the practice goalie (D. Ayers looked great compared to him) and was simply not good enough allowing 4 goals on just 17 shots the remainder of the game. What made matters worse was Colorado played an excellent 2nd period putting 17 shots of their own on J. Quick but couldn't beat him and didn't in the third either! Somehow the average rated Quick continues to outperform his better rated partner in the Vegas goal and rewarded his GM with another victory. Colorado will get another shot to take back home ice in Game 4 while Vegas will look to hold serve and push the Aves to the brink. Vegas leads 2-1
