BRHL Finals

Isles    6

Aves   3

After a very disappointing start to the finals for both the Isles and more specifically A. Vasilevskiy fans in New York were looking for more in Game 2 and boy did they get it. All that needs to be said about this game is a recital of the first period stats: Shots 26-11 for Colorado, Score 3-0 New York. This game was tilted in Colorados favor far more then the first meeting yet it was a completely different result on the scoresheet as Vasilevskiy returned to his previous form stiffling teams he had no business stiffling. Although Colorado did mange to get 3 past Vasilevskiy in the end this game was unofficially over after the second period ended with New York holding a 4-1 advantage. The bad news once again for New York is the amount of shots being allowed is taxing Vasilevskiy and he will need a game off either next game or the game after while GM Bryce can alternate between 2 excellent starters game after game and not have to worry about fatigue at all. In the end it was mission accomplished for the Isles stealing a road game and home ice advantage heading back to Long Island. Series tied at 1
