This game wasn't close and the fact that a goalie that made 50 saves and lost by 3 is a pretty good indicator! I am not sure if Colorado is that good, their PP is that good, or both but 56 shots, 6 goals, 4 PP goals later we have crowned the new champs! Colorado showed they were much more ready to start this game and jumped on the hometown Isles early and often pumping 20 shots on goal for the second straight game and opening a 3-1 lead. Although the Isles were able to settle down a bit they were done by the third getting outshot 22-8 in a period they had to win and that was all she wrote. I think we were all happy that GM Bryce finally got out of the first round after years of building team after team that just didn't get it done but obviously Bryce wasn't content with just that and took it all the way home. Colorado wins 4-2. Congrats to both teams on great seasons!
