Master Yoda's Annual Power Rankings
Who is actually good this year?
Well, well, well, look who jumped to the top! Kevin was struggling the last couple years and he said enough is enough. He traded away a lot of young talent for pro roster players and found a good combination. Along with MAF and his insane rates, he's the one to beat.
Other notables are Minnesota and Anaheim. Ducks did it mostly through better rerates and Minnesota did it through pure luck and Stammer. Both ways have put the teams near the top and will be fighting for West supremacy.
The Pacific will have Calgary and Anaheim running away from the rest of the pack, but San Jose and Edmonton shouldn't be too far behind. Those 4 should make the playoffs
In the Central, it's a dog fight as usual. There are 4 top 10 teams that will be fighting for top spot. Minnesota, Dallas, Colorado, and Chicago will each get a spot in the playoffs, while the rest should be looking at the lottery from day one.
In the Atlantic, the division is Boston's to lose again, but they always seem to struggle with Montreal. Depending on the direction they decide to go at the deadline, Toronto and Ottawa have a chance to take the final playoff spot.
The Metro has the NYI at the top and Washington, Columbus, and Philly fighting for the other playoff spots. Looks like Carolina will get the final WC spot by default and lost in the 1st round again.
