Lightning (Eric) 4-2 Penguins (Toby)

Penguins were really never in the game, they were outshot 40-21. A zero goal first period led by a quick lightning strike of goals in the 2nd period by Tampa - leading Terry, Kotkaniemi and Galchenyuk with their first goals of the season. Kotkaniemi would score his 2nd of the game in the third period while Duchene and Raddysh put up meaningless goals for the Penguins in the third. Potential trade target Mike Smith saved 36 of 40 shots as GM watch closely how he performs on the garbage Penguins. Toby's team could not stay out of the box today at the Lightning were 3/8 on the PP.

Golden Knights (Joe) 4-2 Kraken (Rex)

Rex's playoff team could not handle the sharpness of the Knight's swords. Knights outshot the Kraken 33-20. Olofsson and enforcer Hathaway put up their first goals of the season in the first for the Knights. The scoring was split in the second with Crosby scoring for the Kraken and Carter scoring for the Knights. Hathaway would go on to score his 2nd goal of the game as would Crosby. Filip Forsberg had a 3 point night for the Knights. Garneth Hathaway was named the first star of the game for his two goal performance. It is to note Sidney Crosby is playing 50% of ice time for the Kraken (good thing injuries are off)
