Philly returned home with their tails between their legs after 2 straight losses on the road looking for answers and may have stumbled onto the answer by accident. The home side crowd was electric and became ecstatic after the Flyers provided them a 4-0 game lead after 2 periods but this wasn't all about the offense. C. Driedger got the nod in goal and stopped 30 shots over those first 2 periods and 40 overall to preserve the win. That certainly isn't to say his counterpart J.Campbell shit the bed either as he made 43 saves in a losing effort but the Flyers needed a strong effort in net to stay alive and they got what the doctor ordered. Flyers get the job done at home but still trail 2 games to 1

Isles      5

Much like the Flyers above these Isles returned home trailing 2-0 and looking for answers and like the Flyers got a strong game from their goalie to narrowly get a much needed win. This was a story about a missed opportunity for Carolina however as getting 4 against a premiere goalie like A. Vasilevskiy has to result in a "W" and if the powerhouse Isles get off the mat to win this series this game will be the "TSN Turning Point" for it. C. Talbot completely shit the bed allowing 4 goals on just 18 shots before giving way to a solid performance from J.Bernier who stopped 16 of 17 but had to take the loss. Better news for the Isles was the extra rest day which now allows Vasilevskiy to return to the pipes at 100% for next game (thx guys) hindering the GM's that learned from past experience to make sure they had a quality tandem. Isles rebounding down 2-1 with game 4 in New York

Is it just me or does CBJ just have Boston's number? For the third straight game the top seed in the East had their ass's handed to them and this time the Sim got it right rewarding Columbus with the win. Boston gave up a whopping 50 shots on goal and despite a decent offensive showing getting 33 shots of their own couldn't stay with Columbus throughout this evening. As this series continues it appears very one-sided in the Jackets favor while goalie Saros continues to tire. This isn't looking good for Boston and changes have to be coming from GM Greg to try and right the ship. CBJ up 2-1 with Game 4 at home.

You lose 100% of the games that you don't score and not scoring when trailing 2-0 in games already = early departure! The Leafs have scored 3 goals in 3 games while being shutout in back to back tilts. Nothing to say or see here other then see you next year Garrett as this rather decent Leaf squad simply has shown zero in these playoffs thus far. Not expecting any miracles to happen in this series as it hasn't been close but maybe the Leafs can at least give the home crowd 1 victory in Toronto ??? Habs up 3-0 looking for a nice break
