The battle of Alberta kicked off and as it should be was a back and forth nailbiter until the end. If anyone wants to see what a sim should look like in a 1 goal overtime game this is it! The shots finished tied at 31 but the bottom line was that someone had to win and this time was the hometown Flames. Remember when everyone (including me) piled on GM Kevin for overpaying for Connor Brown??? He scored the overtime winner and his 6th of the playoffs so i'll just got fck myself but having said that I also gifted him Toffoli so good on Kev for making the push!!! Flames currently holding serve up 1-0

Imagine getting a measely 24 shots in a game and dominating....excuse me??? What??? Apparently tonights game was played between an ECHL team and a Bantam houseleague team because how the fck can anyone explain a 24-16 shot playoff game? Dallas completely shut down the visiting Blues while not doing fck-all themselves but managed to do slightly more enroute to a boring "W". Sean Couturier managed his 7th of the playoffs but other than that not much to see here!!! Simple math suggests that the Blues better find some type of offense quick or the illusion of a second round playoff team will disappear like the morning fog! Stars up a very boring 1-0
