Canes    1

Flyers    3

Philly was once again at home for Game 4 and once again looking to even the series up after falling behind following a Game 3 loss. This was what a game should look like after a 3-1 win. The Flyers were the better team early on and were rewarded for their strong play with a 2-0 second intermission lead before Carolina cut the lead to 1 early in the third. Philly was having none of a Hurricane comeback however continuing to press the offense rather then defending and responded with a third period goal of their own to restore the 2 goal lead and solidify the win. C. Driedger returned to his usual stellar self stopping 27 of 28 shots while J. Bernier was also very good stopping 38 shots in a losing effort. Series shifts back to Carolina tied at 2

Bruins    2

Habs     3

To everyone in the leagues surprise the Habs continued to roll over everyone including the now departed 1st placed Boston Bruins. Montreal has yet to taste defeat in these playoffs sitting with a perfect 8-0 record but more surprisingly has started both Goalies equally and they are both 4-0. The only curse to this win streak is that there obviously isn't a clear cut #1 starter but I guess if you never lose you don't need to worry about it!!! Montreal can't be that good can they??? Regardless whether fluke, skill, or a bit of both the Habs get another long break and await the winner of Canes/Flyers. Habs win 4-0
