This 7th and deciding game was certainly not worth the wait for those in attendance or watching at home ! In what can only be described as a dismal performance the home crowd at least got to leave happy with a victory! The weak link to this Flyers team was once again on display as there simply was not enough top end scoring to get past this balanced Hurricane squad. Carolina did a whole lot of fck all either but a pair of power-play goals was all that was needed to propel them onwards to a date with Montreal in the conference final. Carolina slides by 4-3
