In yet another competetive game there was one deciding factor that tipped the scales ever so slightly. This contest was a back and forth affair from the opening puck drop and required overtime to decide it. Que the tipping point !!! There was one goal scored on special teams and it happened at 2:04 of overtime when Bryan Rust got one past M.A.Fleury on the power play. The Flames had to be somewhat dejected with the result as they played a strong road game throughout having put up double digit shots in all 3 periods and had actually outshot the home side 41-31 in regulation. Calgary will be looking for a similar effort in Game 4 with a better result as they now trail 2-1.
