This nailbiter of a contest really was anything but except on the most important part.....the scoreboard!!! Montreal assumed control of this game from the opening puck drop and if not for the heroics of Jonathon Bernier this could easily have been the most lopsided win of the playoffs. Bernier stopped 45 of 46 shots and deserved a much better fate but Carolina simply couldn't find the energy to muster enough offense of their own to reward him for his exceptional play. The Hurricanes, despite a terrible showing had 4 power play opportunities afforded them and did jack-shit with them but lets be honest, the better team won this night! Heading to Game 4 with Montreal up 2-1
