Think I will just have to start copy and paste every series the Flames are in. Once again they find themselves in a back and forth series where they simply won't go away or make things easy on themselves and take someone out quickly. If only they could play a series like they played this game! Heading into this Game 4 the Flames needed a big game to avoid falling behind 3-1 and boy did they get it. Tyler Toffoli made his presence felt scoring a hat trick and he was the difference in this contest on the score sheet but in all fairness the 5-2 defeat was flattering for the home side. The Flames built a 5-0 lead before taking the rest of the evening off allowing 2 "window dressing" goals for the St. Louis faithful to cheer about. St. Louis didn't play a horrible first couple of periods but Flames netminder M.A.Fleury was back to his usual self turning aside all 23 shots he faced to that point demoralizing the Blues bench and removing the crowd from the game. Both squads look forward to the day off heading back to Calgary all square at 2.
