Another close game and another tied series as both conferences continue to battle it out! Carolina came into the game hoping to take back home ice and avoid a huge defecit at the same time and managed to get it done in overtime. This was just another battle from start to finish but the overtime session was not. Carolina played desperate hockey the entire overtime outshooting a shocked homeside 15-2 before finally breaking through with the game winner.  Alex Nedeljkovic played another exceptional game in the Montreal goal stopping 42 Carolina shots but took just his first loss of the post season despite his heroics. The series now shifts back to Carolina in a best of 3 format tied at 2.
