West Recap
Sharks 2
Flames 1
The Flames returned home looking to expel GM Sumit and his Sharks from this years playoffs but it will have to wait at least another game. Both teams played extremely well and provided both sides fans with a highly entertaining game but someone had to lose! Cam Talbot returned to the Shark net and picked up his 1st win of these playoffs stopping 34 of 35 shots while his counter-part Darcy Kuemper made 38 saves in the loss. With 75 combined shots it was a testament to how well both these goalies played but once again, someone had to lose! Sharks heading home to San Jose still alive now down 3-2

Av's 4
Colorado returned home in the same position as the Flames above looking to close out a series. Unlike the Flames above however this home team got the job done! For the second straight game Junya got to watch his game script executed against him falling behind after a period and counter-punched the rest of the way. Dallas was a little unfortunate trailing after one as they played a really solid period but Colorado didn't feel sorry for them gradually choking the life out of the game. Dallas couldn't get anything much going in the second while giving up a pair and the third was just a formality. The fact this series didn't take longer to complete is a disappointment but GM Bryce and his Colorado squad will happily take the break and await their next opponent. Colorado wins 4-1

Blues 2
Say it ain't so! For the second straight day the late game of the evening featured a team looking to close out a series...dominating every facet of the game....yet finding a way to lose in convincing fashion. V. Husso played the villain on this night stealing away an obvious win from the Blues and their fans. After 2 periods of play Nashville found themselves on the wrong end of a 30-14 shot advantage yet only trailed by a goal. That obviously fueled them for a big third period and although outshot for the third straight period played a much tighter game. Much like a few other goalies have been in this position, Husso was rewarded for his efforts by his team grabbing a "W" to send the series back to Nashville. St. Louis still in control up 3-2
